How to register a new store

If you don't have a platform login yet, add the store with Username and Password left empty, register in the store browser, then come back and fill them in. If you already have a login, enter it when you add a store.

Only the owner or an admin can add stores. Launch the store in the desktop app. This example uses Amazon, United States, and store name 新店铺环境.

Add the store without a login

1. Open the Merca desktop app, sign in, and go to My stores.
2. Click Add store at the top right.
3. Enter a Store name.
4. Set Platform to Amazon, then check United States under Sites.
5. Leave Username and Password empty. Both are marked Optional.
6. For Node, pick one that no other store on this platform has used. You need a node to launch. If you don't have one, see Add a node.
7. Click Add store.

Other platforms and sites work the same way.

Launch and register

The new store appears in the list. Username shows Not set.

Click Launch on that store. When the store window opens, complete registration there. Don't use the system browser.

Enter the login

After registration, go back to My stores.

1. Click Edit on that store.
2. Enter the Username and Password you just registered.
3. Click Save.
