How to set the download directory

Files downloaded in a store window stay on this computer. They are not stored on the account. In the desktop app, open Settings and set Download directory under Downloads. This isn't available in the website. These settings apply only to this computer.

Files downloaded in a store browser are saved under this directory, in a folder named after the store. The default is a Merca folder on the desktop.

Change the download directory

1. Open the Merca desktop app and go to Settings.
2. Next to Download directory, click Browse… and choose a folder.

You can also type a path. The new path is saved right away.

Changing the directory does not move files already downloaded. Close the store window, then click Launch. The new directory is used from then on.

One folder per store

After you launch a store, its downloads go into a folder named after the store name, under the Download directory. Files from two stores stay apart.

In the store window, open chrome://settings/downloads. Location under Downloads is that store's folder. This store is named 美刻跨境亚马逊1店, so files go to Merca/美刻跨境亚马逊1店.

Change the download location in Settings in the desktop app. Change in the store window only applies to the current window. The next Launch sets this store's location from Settings again.
