This tutorial shows you how to purchase an IPFoxy dedicated static ISP proxy, copy its connection details, and import, test, and save it as a node in Merca Browser.

IPFoxy offers proxies across 200+ countries and regions, including static ISP, datacenter IPv4/IPv6, and 4G/5G mobile proxies, with HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 support. Please note that Merca Browser does not sell proxy services; proxies must be purchased separately.

Before you begin, install and log in to the Merca Browser desktop client and prepare your IPFoxy account. For help choosing a location, see [Which Country Should You Choose for Your Node?](https://merca.getchrovia.com/en/docs/node-country).

Prices and availability shown are for demonstration purposes only. Please refer to the IPFoxy website for the latest details.

## 1. Register for an IPFoxy Account

Visit the official [IPFoxy website](https://www.ipfoxy.com/invite/RxFe4K).

No software download is required. Complete your purchase through the lightweight web interface. Click Free Trial to register for an IPFoxy account.

## 2. Choose a Proxy Type

Click Buy Proxies and select your preferred proxy type and target country or region. IPFoxy offers four types of proxies. New users can get a free trial:

- Datacenter IPv4 Proxies: Clean, dedicated datacenter IPs with stable uptime.
- Datacenter IPv6 Proxies: Cost-effective IPv6 datacenter IPs.
- Static Residential ISP Proxies: Dedicated, native residential ISP IPs with fixed addresses, ideal for account management and long-term operations.
- Rotating Proxies: Access a large pool of real residential IPs and 4G/5G mobile proxies with IP rotation, ideal for large-scale data collection and multi-region operations.

IPFoxy also supports customized network configurations, allowing you to tailor bandwidth and protocols to your business needs.

### If you choose Rotating IPs

Go to the Extract Rotating Proxies page and select the proxy type, country/city, session rotation settings, and service line. Click Generate Proxy Details, then click Copy in the proxy list to retrieve your proxy information.

## 3. Retrieve Your Proxy Details

After purchasing your proxies, navigate to the corresponding proxy management page from the left sidebar based on the proxy type you selected.

### If you choose Dedicated Proxies

Go to the Dedicated Proxy Management page, select the proxy you want to integrate, and click Proxy Details. Then click the copy icon next to the proxy information.

If you need to specify a protocol, you can also change it in the Protocol section on this page.

## 4. Fill in the details in Merca

The Merca screenshots below show the Chinese interface.

Open the Merca desktop app, go to **Nodes**, and click **Add node**.

1. Enter an optional **Label**, such as `IPFoxy US`.
2. Paste the complete connection details into **Paste details**.
3. Click **Fill in**.

![Enter a label, paste the proxy details, and click Fill in in the full Merca window](https://merca.getchrovia.com/docs/screenshots/ipfoxy-merca-fill.webp)

Merca parses and fills in the **Protocol**, **Address**, **Port**, **Username**, and **Password**, then clears the paste field. Check that these fields match the details provided by IPFoxy. If parsing fails, enter each field manually. Do not copy masked values from the screenshots.

## 5. Check and save the node

Review the connection details and click **Check node**. This check requires the desktop app.

**Use proxy chain** is on in the screenshots, so both the node check and store connections use the local proxy configured in the desktop app. If you use the default system proxy setting, turn on the system proxy in your third-party software first. If your network can reach the node directly, you can turn off **Use proxy chain** before checking. See [How the proxy chain works](https://merca.getchrovia.com/en/docs/proxy-chain).

![Click Check node after filling in the connection details](https://merca.getchrovia.com/docs/screenshots/ipfoxy-merca-check.webp)

After a successful check, the form shows the country or region and exit IP. Confirm that they match your expectations, then click **Add node**.

![Confirm the detected country or region and exit IP, then click Add node](https://merca.getchrovia.com/docs/screenshots/ipfoxy-merca-save.webp)

If the check fails, verify the protocol, address, port, and proxy credentials. Also check that the proxy has not expired and that your local proxy chain is working. Run the check again after changing connection details. An exit IP cannot be added more than once, including an IP already added by another Merca account.

## 6. Assign the node to a store

After saving, confirm that the new node appears in the **Nodes** list. Follow [Add a store](https://merca.getchrovia.com/en/docs/add-store), enter the store details, and select `IPFoxy US` in **Node**. Complete the setup before opening the store.

Adding a node does not automatically change the node assigned to an existing store. Before changing an existing assignment, read [Is it risky to change a store's node](https://merca.getchrovia.com/en/docs/change-node).
