# How to add a store

> Add a store in Merca, choose its platform and sites, save the login account, and launch the store browser with an optional proxy node.

Add a store in the desktop app. This example uses Amazon with United States, Japan, and Germany. Only the owner or an admin can add stores. Launch the store in the desktop app.

## Open Add store

1. Open the Merca desktop app, sign in, and go to **My stores**.
2. Click **Add store** at the top right.

## Name the store

Enter a **Store name**.

## Choose platform and sites

1. Set **Platform** to **Amazon**.
2. Click **Sites**, check **United States**, **Japan**, and **Germany**, then click **Confirm**.

Other platforms and sites work the same way.

## Enter the login

Enter **Username** and **Password** for this store. They autofill when the store browser opens.

A node is optional. If you don't have one yet, see [Add a node](https://merca.getchrovia.com/en/docs/import-node), or choose **Choose later**.

## Save

Click **Add store**. The new store appears under **My stores**.

## Launch the browser

1. Click **Launch** on that store.
2. If the store has more than one site, **Choose a site** opens. Pick a site, then click **Launch**.

The store browser window opens and fills in the username and password you saved.
